Add a monday.com connection

Learn how to connect to your existing monday.com account to take advantage of the available monday.com app connection Workflow actions and recipes.

App connections are third-party integrations that are natively supported within your account. With the monday.com app connection, you can use the corresponding steps and recipes to leverage Form data in your monday.com boards.

During this process, you’ll add the GoFormz app to your monday.com account, and authorize a connection between your two accounts.

Connect your existing monday.com account to your GoFormz account to gain access to the available Monday.com Workflow actions.

The GoFormz-monday.com connection is unique amongst the available app connections in that you’ll first need to install the GoFormz app to your monday.com account. Follow the link below to install the necessary app.

Additionally, you’ll need to be aware of three things when you add a monday.com connection. . .

  • Until monday.com completes their review process, they’ll display a message letting you know that the GoFormz app is still in their approval process.

  • If you add this connection using Safari, be sure that you allow pop-ups from GoFormz.

  • The monday.com account you use for your connection will appear throughout your GoFormz account as the user who completes any associated actions.

  • You'll need to re-authenticate this connection each time you change your monday.com account password.

When you’re ready, open the web app and navigate to the Workflows tab where you'll access the Workflow Dashboard. Next, follow the steps below to add your new connection.

  1. Click the Manage Connected Apps card.

    You'll navigate to the Connected Apps page.

  2. Find the monday.com connection card.
    Click Add Connection.

    The monday.com log-in window will appear.

    If you're already logged in to monday.com you'll automatically move on to step 4.

  3. Click Authorize to complete the integration.

    This allows GoFormz to read and write files to your monday.com account, but GoFormz will not manage any settings in your monday.com account.

  4. Click the newly added monday.com connection card.

    You'll navigate to your monday.com connection management page.

  5. Access the Actions (. . .) menu and click Details.

    A window displaying your connection details will appear.

  6. Enter a unique connection name.

  7. Click Save.
