What GoFormz Assistant can do
Each capability has its own guide with examples and step-by-step instructions.
Generate formulas Describe the logic you want and GoFormz Assistant writes the formula — field-level calculations or Template-level Form logic. It can also explain what an existing formula does.
Build OCR guidance Tell GoFormz Assistant what to capture from a scanned or uploaded document, and it configures how your fields recognize and extract that text.

Where to find GoFormz Assistant
GoFormz Assistant lives inside the Template Editor. Depending on what you're doing, you'll open it from the relevant workspace — for example, click Generate formula with AI in the Formula Editor to start a formula chat.
Tips for success
A few habits that get better results from GoFormz Assistant, no matter which capability you're using:
Talk to it like a co-worker. It understands plain, direct language — describe your goal, not the syntax.
Start a new session when you switch tasks. If you finish one request (a formula, OCR guidance, etc.) and want to start another, close GoFormz Assistant and open a fresh chat. A new session gives it clearer context.
Always review and verify the output. As with all AI-generated resources, check the result before you apply it — test formulas in the Formula Editor, and test OCR guidance against real sample documents.
