Microsoft SQL Server integration overview

Integrate your existing Microsoft SQL Server into your account to collect cleaner data and simplify your data management processes.

Updated today

Automate the movement of data between your account and your SQL-connected systems when you add a Microsoft SQL Server connection.

🗒️ Note: In order to use SQL Server actions and recipes, you’ll need to reach out to your Account Manager or Pro Services to permit access to the SQL Server application on your account.

As you collect Forms, you can transfer data - including field values and Form metadata - between your account and your SQL database. Your collected Form data can then create or update rows in SQL.

Additionally, you can reference your SQL data within your Templates and Forms.

After you connect your SQL Server to your account, you’re ready to explore the available actions and recipes.

Available SQL Server actions

The available SQL actions aim to establish a relationship between your account resources - like Forms, Templates, and DataSources - and your SQL Server datasets.

Upsert row

Use incoming Form data to add a new row - or update an existing row - within your SQL database based on a key value.

Upsert rows

Use incoming Form data to add multiple new rows - or update multiple existing row - within your SQL database based on a key value.

If you reference a table field, use the Upsert rows action.

Query

Retrieve a dataset from your SQL Server using a SQL query.

Available SQL Server Workflow recipes

In addition to using the available actions in custom Workflows, you can take advantage of the available pre-built SQL Server recipes.

SQL Upsert row

The SQL Server: Upsert Row recipe utilizes the SQL Server: Upsert row step within a pre-built Workflow to add or update a row in your SQL database based on your incoming Form data.
