Catch-up quick

Leverage your SQL database as your account’s “source of truth” when you set up a GoFormz-Microsoft SQL Server connection.

Connect Microsoft SQL Server to your account to automate data movement between your account data - like Form data - and your SQL Server.

🗒️ Note: To leverage a SQL connection and its corresponding steps and Workflows, you’ll first need to contact either your Account Manager or Pro Services.

Before you establish your connection, gather your existing Microsoft SQL Server account credentials.

In the web app, navigate to the Workflows tab and click Manage app connections. You’ll navigate to the App Connections page where you'll complete the following steps.

  1. Scroll to Available Connections and locate the SQL Server card.
    Click + Add Connection.

The SQL Server log-in window will appear.

  2. Enter your SQL Server connection string.

    Click Add.

  3. Navigate to Connected Apps.
Locate your new SQL Server connection.

  4. Enter a new connection name.
Consider including your SQL Server’s associated username in your connection’s name.

As you add more connections, it becomes more important to have easily identifiable connection names.
