"Form Completed" trigger details

Kickstart your automations whenever somebody completes a Form with the Form Completed trigger.

Start your Workflow when Form Users create and complete Forms using specific Templates with the Form Completed trigger.

With this step, you can save time by automatically processing your Forms. Some popular Workflows you can set up with this trigger include:

  • Upload completed Forms to third-party apps (like Google Drive, SharePoint, or OneDrive)

  • Email customers or coworkers

  • Use Form responses to update objects in third-party apps (like Procore, Salesforce, or Acumatica)

When you establish this trigger, you’ll select your Templates, and the users who - when a Form is completed by them using the related Templates - will start the associated Workflow.

Select your Templates includes options for individual Templates, and Template folders.

🗒️ Note: If you select a Template folder, and later a move a Template out of that folder, you may experience issues with your Workflow.

This is because you’ve assigned your Workflow to reference a Template folder as opposed to the individual Template.

When completed by indicates which of your users or Groups you want to trigger this Workflow.

The only run this Workflow the first time a Form is completed option prevents repetitive Workflow processing for any Forms that you intend to modify after they’re completed, but don’t want to re-run this automation.
