Twilio is a customer engagement platform you can integrate with GoFormz to automatically send text messages based on completed Forms using the "Send a text message using your Twilio account" Workflow recipe.
Access the Workflow Recipes Library in the Workflows tab of the GoFormz web app by clicking Create to begin.
Select the Send Text Message with Twilio recipe.
You'll navigate to the Workflow Recipe Builder.
Click the pencil icon next to the default Workflow name.
Enter a Workflow name.
Note: GoFormz recommends that you include the Template name used in the Workflow in your Workflow name.
Establish your Form Completed trigger by configuring your Completed By and Template details.
Choose your configuration details for your Twilio connection to establish your Send Text Message action.
These include Connection, Recipient and Sender Phone Numbers, and Message Body.
Select the Twilio Connection you want to use for this Workflow.
If necessary, click + Add Connection drop-down menu to add a new connection.
Enter your Recipient Phone Number. This is the destination phone number for your SMS message.
Note: The recipients phone number must be in E.164 format. If you're using a Workflow variable here, verify that it's collected in this format.
The Sender Phone Number is the Sender ID or “From” phone number associated with your Twilio account.
Note: View and manage this number in your Twilio account.
Enter a Message Body.
This is what your recipient will see when they receive your text message. This message has a 1600 character limit.
Click the Activation slider if you want your Workflow active immediately.
Want to verify that your Workflow is set up correctly?
If you want to verify that your Workflow is correctly set up, complete the Workflow trigger you set up in Step 3 above.
Next, check the Workflow Jobs page in the GoFormz web app.
Here you’ll see if your Workflow succeeds. If your Workflow is successful, you’ll see data from your submitted Form in your connected Twilio worksheet.
