Fill out Forms with AI Voice Fill

Use your voice to quickly propose values for multiple fields at once in the GoFormz mobile app.

Use AI Voice Fill

Open a Form in the mobile app and navigate to the page or List View tab you want to fill out.

  1. Tap the Sparkle icon and select AI Voice Fill.

  2. Select a language, if needed.

  3. Tap Start and speak.

  4. Tap Pause and Resume as needed, then tap Done.

  5. Review the highlighted values on your Form.

  6. Edit any values as needed, then tap Accept to apply them or Discard to remove them.

AI Voice Fill only fills fields on the page or tab you were viewing when you started.

Say the field name, then the value

Always say the field name first, followed by the value you want entered.

For example, on an equipment inspection Form, you might say:

“Equipment ID, TX-204. Condition, Needs Repair. Guard Installed, Yes. Notes, power cable is frayed.”

Naming each field helps AI Voice Fill determine where the value belongs.

Keep your recording with an Audio field

There are two ways to start AI Voice Fill:

  • From the AI menu: Proposes field values, but the recording is not saved.

  • From an Audio field: Proposes field values and gives you the option to save the recording to the Form.

Starting from an Audio field is the only way to keep the recording.

Use AI Voice Fill without coverage

AI Voice Fill requires a connection to process a recording.

If you're working offline, record your notes in an Audio field. Once you're back online, open that Audio field and run AI Voice Fill from the saved recording.

This lets you capture information on site without waiting for a connection.

Supported fields

AI Voice Fill supports:

  • Text, Number, Date, Date Time, and Time

  • Drop Down

  • Checkbox and Checkbox Group

  • Database

  • Table

It does not support:

  • Image

  • File Attachment

  • Signature, eSign Signature, or eSign Initials

  • Sketch

  • Location

  • Auto Number

  • Barcode

Supported fields allow AI Voice Fill by default. Admins can disable AI Voice Fill for individual fields in the Template Editor.

⚙️ For admins

Review fields used for compliance or approvals. Supported fields, including Checkboxes, can be filled with AI Voice Fill unless the feature is disabled for that field.

Recording limits and languages

Recordings can be up to 2 minutes long.

AI Voice Fill does not stop recording when you pause or stop speaking. Tap Done when you're finished.

You can select from the supported languages before recording begins:

English (US, Australia, Canada, India, United Kingdom), German (Germany), Spanish (Spain, Mexico), French (Canada, France), Italian (Italy), Japanese (Japan), Korean (South Korea), Portuguese (Brazil), and Chinese Simplified (China).

Troubleshooting

  • Nothing was filled: Make sure you said each field name before its value.

  • Microphone is unavailable: Enable microphone access for GoFormz in your device Settings.

  • You're offline: Record into an Audio field and process it when you're back online.

  • Recording is too long: Recordings are limited to 2 minutes.

  • A field was skipped: Confirm the field type is supported and AI Voice Fill has not been disabled for that field.
