Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a construction management platform that connects teams to their data.

Advanced and Enterprise accounts can upload files to their Autodesk account. Enterprise users can access additional ACC-related steps, but they'll need to contact their Account Manager first.

Some popular use cases for this connection include the automatic update of field inspection results, and the creation and update of Autodesk objects - like RFIs and Issues.

Autodesk Workflow steps

Include the available ACC Workflow steps in your Workflows to make the most of your connection.

  • Upload files to Autodesk sends Forms and Form images directly to your Autodesk account.

  • Create an Autodesk object creates an Autodesk object - like an Issue, or RFI - and auto-populates its values.

  • Lookup Autodesk object values gathers data from Autodesk objects as individual fields for user or reference in any Workflow steps that follow this step.

  • Query Autodesk returns a list of Autodesk objects formatted as a dataset.

  • Update Autodesk sends values directly to your existing Autodesk object.

The Upload files to Autodesk step is available for Advanced and Enterprise-tier accounts. All other ACC Workflow steps are only available for Enterprise-tier accounts, and require training with Pro Services. Contact your Account Manager if you’d like to set up a training.

Some steps also offer a guided set-up process with Workflow recipes.

As with all Workflow recipes, you’ll fill in your details within a pre-built series of automations.

Upload a file to Autodesk Construction Cloud

Upload Form PDFs, images, and attachments to your Autodesk Construction Cloud as you receive them from Form Users with the Upload file to Autodesk Construction Cloud Workflow recipe.

Custom Workflows

After Enterprise-tier account users complete the necessary training, the available Autodesk Workflow steps can be added to Custom Workflows. Custom Workflows provide a way to process incoming Form data to best suit your business needs.
